Alabama Credit Union Employee Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the Alabama Credit Union in association with the Tuscaloosa County Alumni Chapter. First priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen whose parent or guardian is a full-time employee of the business entity currently known as the Alabama Credit Union at the time the student enrolls for the fall semester of their freshman year at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Second priority is given to students transferring from a two-year or four-year institution whose parent or guardian is a full-time employee of the ACU. Third priority is given to currently enrolled undergraduate students whose parent or guardian is a full-time employee of the ACU. The award may be renewed to the incumbent for the succeeding year of the recipient’s undergraduate education, not to exceed a total of four academic years of undergraduate study, provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality as to justify such renewal by maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
