Alabama Power Foundation - University of Alabama College of Communication Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the Alabama Power Foundation, Inc., of Birmingham, Alabama, to honor three Birmingham News journalists for capturing the Pulitzer Prize. Awards from this fund are made to deserving full-time students enrolled in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. It is the donor’s expressed intent that eligibility be restricted to legal residents of the State of Alabama and that the established criteria give preference to academic quality and demonstrated financial need
