Alan L. Bennett Endowed Memorial Scholarship in Print Journalism

Established by Dr. William R. Bennett to honor the memory of his son, Alan L. Bennett. Priority of consideration is given to full-time junior or senior students majoring in print journalism in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Recipients are selected on the basis of scholarship, demonstrated leadership, and writing skills, with preference being given to students interested in sports writing. Among qualified applicants, a deciding factor may be financial need.
