Alasee Payne Thompson Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by family and friends of Alasee Payne Thompson in association with the Chattanooga Tennessee Alumni Chapter. The scholarship is given to entering freshmen or currently enrolled undergraduate students who are interested in music, with first preference going to students who graduated from a high school in the Chattanooga Tennessee Chapter area, second preference going to students who graduated from a high school in Madison County, Alabama, and third preference to students who graduated from a high school in north Georgia (Ft. Oglethorpe, Ringold, Tunnell Hill, Trenton, Lakeview, Chickamauga, Lookout Mountain, Dalton, and Calhoun cities). The scholarship is renewable.
