Allen R. Maxwell Endowed Anthropology Scholarship

Established by the late Dr. Allen Maxwell. Priority of consideration is given to doctoral students conducting fieldwork in ethnographic and/or linguistic anthropological research. Strong preference is given to students within the Department of Anthropology in need of support to conduct dissertation related fieldwork and who have sought external funding for their work. Second priority is given to master’s students conducting ethnographic and/or linguistic research. If no graduate students can be awarded the scholarship, undergraduate students studying cultural or linguistic anthropology may be awarded the scholarship.
