Alto Loftin Jackson, Sr., Endowed Scholarship in the College of Commerce and Business Administration

Established by Dr. Al Jackson Jr., M.D., to honor his father, Alto Loftin Jackson Sr. Awards from this fund are made first to admitted students from Barbour or Dale counties in the state of Alabama, who intend to pursue a degree in the Culverhouse College of Business. If there are no qualified applicants from Barbour or Dale counties, applicants from Montgomery, Autauga, or Elmore counties in Alabama, are considered. Qualified applicants have excelled academically, with a minimum grade average of “B+” in high school, a minimum ACT score of 25, and have demonstrated leadership qualities. The scholarship is renewable.
