Established by Matthew B. and Ashley S. Laird. First priority of consideration is given to students enrolled in the College of Education who graduated from a Jasper City School in Alabama. Second priority of consideration is given to students enrolled in the College of Education who transferred from Bevill State Community College in Alabama. Third priority of consideration is given to students enrolled in the College of Education who graduated from a high school in Walker County, Alabama.
