Bailey Thomson Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Journalism

Established by family, friends, and colleagues of H. Bailey Thomson to honor his memory and to promote the education of students majoring in journalism in the College of Communication and Information Sciences at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to full-time undergraduate students in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Each recipient must be majoring in journalism, possess a minimum grade average of “B,” show promise as a writer, and possess the qualities of excellence and citizen involvement exemplified by Dr. Thomson.
