Boden Family Endowed Support Fund for REACH

Established by Dr. Nanette Jackson Boden. The endowment earnings are used to provide key discretionary support for the Alabama REACH program in the Office for Academic Affairs at the University. The support fund earnings are used for tuition assistance, room and board, books, or emergency funds to assist foster or kinship-care students who have self-identified to REACH and who would normally receive such assistance from immediate family members. The funds could also be used by the REACH program to buy items for their pantry, which privately supplies toiletries and other items for REACH students who need such things, or other equipment that will assist in the REACH program’s function.
