Byrd T. Thompson, Jr., Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Engineering

Established by Katherine W. Thompson, widow of Byrd T. Thompson Jr.; their son, Charles; daughter, Jeanie Thompson; and colleagues. Scholarships from this fund are awarded to full-time undergraduate or graduate students who are legal residents of Alabama, enrolled in the College of Engineering, and demonstrate financial need.
