C. G. Lee Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by C. G. Lee’s daughter, Debra Lee Mackey and her husband, Shelby Mackey, with the Jefferson County Alumni Chapter to honor Mr. C. G. Lee. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen graduating from a high school located in the state of Alabama whose main residence at the time of high school graduation is the Big Oak Boys’ Ranch located in Gadsden, Alabama or the Big Oak Girls’ Ranch located in Springville, Alabama. Among qualifying applicants, those residing at one of the Big Oak Ranches as foster children have priority of consideration over those residing at the Ranches for other reasons (i.e., natural children of House Parents or other Ranch employees).
