Catherine Word Downing Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the Calhoun-Cleburne Counties Alumni Chapter to promote the education of deserving undergraduate students. First priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen from a high school in Calhoun or Cleburne Counties, majoring in journalism. Second priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen from a high school in Calhoun or Cleburne Counties, enrolled in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Third priority is given to entering freshmen from a high school in Calhoun or Cleburne Counties.
