Charles R. Atherton Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established by Zoe A. Atherton to honor the memory of her husband, Dr. Charles R. Atherton, and to promote the education of students in the School of Social Work at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to students enrolled in the School of Social Work. Additional preference is given to students enrolled in the Social Work program with the greatest need of financial support at the time of the award, as determined by the standing scholarship committee.
