Christopher and Elizabeth Melton Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Melton, along with the Tuscaloosa County Alumni Chapter. Consideration is restricted to entering freshmen students enrolling in the Culverhouse College of Business, with a preference to those majoring in entrepreneurship. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama who have achieved a minimum of 3.25 high school grade point average. If none, then second priority of consideration is given to students graduating from any high school located in the state of Alabama. Financial need is the primary factor, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. The scholarship is renewable.
