Citation Corporation Endowed Scholarships in Engineering

Established by the Citation Corporation of Birmingham, Alabama (originally Citation Carolina Corporation), to honor T. Morris Hackney, CEO and founder of Citation Corporation. Priority for the award is given to dependents of Citation Corporation employees who desire to matriculate in the College of Engineering. Second priority for the award is given to engineering students pursuing a degree in metallurgical and materials engineering. Remaining scholarships are given at the discretion of the College of Engineering scholarship committee with approval of the dean. Recipients are referred to as Citation Scholars.
