Corine Sturkey Hall Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Dr. J. DeWayne Tooson in association with the Tuscaloosa County Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school located in Tuscaloosa County enrolling full-time in the College of Education pursuing a career in teaching with a preference for students majoring in elementary education, have maintained a 3.2 minimum high school grade point average on a 4.0 scale and achieved a minimum ACT score of 21 or the equivalent SAT score. The scholarship is renewable, provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
