Dale Leftwich Lane Endowed Scholarship

Established by William Ralph Lane. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshman students at The University of Alabama who graduated from Hayden High School in Hayden, Alabama, or any future successor high school if applicable. Second priority of consideration is given to entering freshman students at The University of Alabama who graduated from high schools in Blount County, Alabama. The donor desires that recipients demonstrate financial need, though not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Should information regarding financial need be provided by applicants, then the donor desires that among qualified applicants, financial need be the primary factor in determining recipients.
