Daniel A. Riley, Jr. and the Marion County Alumni Chapter. First priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from Winfield High School, Winfield, Alabama, or its successor high school, if any. If there are no entering freshmen students graduating from Winfield High School, Winfield, Alabama, at the discretion of the selection committee on an academic year basis, the incumbent recipient may retain the scholarship for the next academic year, provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality to justify such renewal by achieving a minimum 2.5 UA GPA on a 4.0 scale. However, no one recipient can retain the scholarship for more than a total of four academic years of undergraduate study (eight semesters consisting of fall and spring).
