Daniel L. and Ruth T. Hollis Endowed Scholarship

Established by Lieutenant Colonel Ann S. Hollis to honor her parents, Dr. Daniel L. and Ruth T. Hollis. Priority of consideration is given in alternate years to full-time students enrolled in the College of Engineering and the College of Art and Sciences. When awarded in the College of Engineering, priority of consideration is given to students who are enrolled in the College and are minoring in music or participating in a University performance group. When awarded in the College of Arts and Sciences, priority of consideration is given to students who have a concentration in piano and second consideration is given to students who have a concentration in organ or violin. It is the donor’s desire that a recipient’s honorable military service be considered but it is not a requirement to receive the award.
