David W. Gilbert Endowed Scholarship

Established by Michael C. Simmons to honor his brother-in-law, David W. Gilbert, and to promote the education of students in the College of Engineering. Priority of consideration is given to students enrolled in the department of civil, construction, and environmental engineering who are graduates of Carbon Hill High School in Carbon Hill, Alabama, second priority is given to students who are graduates of high schools in Walker County, Alabama.
