Deanna P. Kimbrough Endowed Scholarship in English Literature

Established by Deanna P. Kimbrough. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Education, who have maintained a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, who graduated from a high school within the state of Alabama, who are pursuing an English or literature certification for K-12, who intend to teach English or literature in the public school system within the state of Alabama, and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines.
