Dr. Benjamin Collins Maxwell Endowed Scholarship

Established by Dr. David H. and Mrs. Regina A. Maxwell to honor the memory of Dr. Benjamin Collins Maxwell. Priority of consideration is given to fourth-year medical students enrolled in The University of Alabama School of Medicine on the Tuscaloosa Campus who are Rural Medical Scholars and who plan to practice rural primary care in the state of Alabama. Additional preference is given to students meeting the above criteria who graduated from high schools in Escambia County, Alabama.
