Dr. George and Billie Layton Endowed Scholarship

Established by the family of the late George Leslie Layton and his wife, the late Billie Swain Layton, to honor their contributions to public education in the state of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to full-time juniors or seniors in the College of Education who possess a 3.25 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Among qualified applicants, the deciding factor is financial need.
