Dr. John Banks Robertson and Jeff Richards Robertson Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Mr. John Banks Robertson Jr. to honor the memory of his parents. Priority of consideration is given to a high school senior student scheduled to graduate from Fayette County High School located in Fayette, Alabama, who will enter The University of Alabama as a new freshman student for the academic year immediately following high school graduation. Applicants are of high moral character and in good standing who have attended Fayette County High School their entire school career for grades nine through twelve. Good character, good standing, and attendance is certified by officials of Fayette County High School. Each applicant submits a 250 word essay along with the appropriate application as to how the scholarship will assist them achieve their educational goals. The scholarship committee also considers work ethic, grade point average, ACT composite score, financial need, and extracurricular and community activities, giving equal weight to each category.
