Edward H. Pradat II Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established by Edward H. Pradat, Melanie Ford Kelley, Haynes Kelley, and other friends and family of Edward Hopkins Pradat II to honor his memory. Priority of consideration is given to full-time freshmen enrolled in The University of Alabama. Qualifying recipients must be Alabama high school graduates with grade averages of at least B, who demonstrate financial need. Recipients must reflect the ideals and interests exemplified in the life of Edward Hopkins Pradat II, a religious and community-minded young man. If all conditions are equal among applicants, financial need is the determinative factor. The scholarship may be renewed at the discretion of the committee for each of the subsequent years of the recipient’s undergraduate education, provided the recipient is a full-time student in good standing, has made good progress toward obtaining the undergraduate degree, and maintains at least a C average.
