Eulene Hawkins/Alabama Chapter - NASW Endowed Scholarship in Social Work

Established by a proud University of Alabama alumnus, the Alabama Chapter – National Association of Social Workers, and friends and associates of Eulene Hawkins in her honor. One-half of the scholarship funds is used to provide a scholarship for a recipient of the Eulene Hawkins Scholarship in Social Work at Troy State University. The remaining funds are used to provide a scholarship for graduates of CSWE-accredited social work programs in Alabama other than Troy State University. If no recipients of the Eulene Hawkins Scholarship from Troy State University qualify, scholarships may be awarded to graduates from other CSWE-accredited programs in Alabama. Beneficiaries of this scholarship demonstrate academic excellence and a professional commitment to and support of social work (including membership in NASW) and are encouraged to contribute to the fund after receiving their degrees.
