Everett Hughes Holle Endowed Scholarship

Established by many former Boy Scout leaders, including Patrick O’Neil, Ed O’Neil, and James T. Stephens, and other friends and supporters of General Everett Hughes Holle to pay tribute to General Holle for his dedication to young people and higher education and to promote the education of students in the College of Communication and Information Sciences at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to rising junior and senior communication majors who are Alabama residents and have demonstrated the qualities of leadership, service, and scholarship exemplified by Everett Hughes Holle. Recipients of the award should possess a 3.0 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines.
