Fannie Schmitt Memorial Endowed Scholarship in the School of Library and Information Studies

Established by friends, former students, and colleagues of Frances H. “Fannie” Schmitt, to honor her memory and career. Priority is given to graduate students enrolled in the School of Library and Information Studies who are studying librarianship. This fund is intended to reward high academic standards and performance. Consideration is given to recipients who exhibit the intelligence and qualities of character demonstrated by Fannie Schmitt, including altruism, optimism, unbiasness, thoroughness, discipline, and a willingness to learn and be well informed.
