Fayard First Generation Business Scholars Endowed Scholarship
Established by Gary P. Fayard and Nancy S. Fayard. Priority of consideration is given to full time first-generation students enrolled in the Culverhouse College of Business who graduated from a high school in the state of Alabama, and demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. To remain eligible, freshmen recipients must maintain at least a 2.8 grade point average and sophomores, juniors, and seniors must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. No less than $5,000 per student shall be awarded to up to ten students per academic year.
