George Merrill Jones III and Carole Jurenko Jones Endowed Scholarship

Established by George Merrill Jones III and Carole Jurenko Jones to promote the education of students in the College of Engineering. Priority of consideration is given to incoming freshmen students who are majoring in chemical engineering and have a high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Among qualifying students, first preference is given to graduates of City of Madison, Alabama, high schools; second preference to graduates of City of Huntsville, Alabama, high schools; and third preference to graduates of Madison County, Alabama, high schools. The scholarship is renewable.
