H. Shelton Prince, Jr., Memorial Endowed Scholarship in the College of Communication

Established by Boone Newspapers, Inc., of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and friends, family, and associates of H. Shelton Prince Jr. to honor his memory. Recipients of the scholarship are full-time undergraduate students in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. One award is made annually and is non-renewable. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need, but financial need is not a requirement. Recipients are full time students, with priority given to students who are planning careers in newspapers.
