Hughes Prize

Established by Olive Allen Hughes and Lynn N. Hughes to fund the Hughes Prize to recognize students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Endowment earnings are used to fund the Hughes Prize in recognition of undergraduate students studying economics or anthropology who have captured the imagination of the faculty by potential, intransigence, inventiveness, perseverance, insight, or a combination of those traits, rather than traditional academic performance.
