J. B. and Ruth Hardwick Perry Crimson Scholarship

Established by J. B. and Ruth Hardwick Perry to promote the education of deserving undergraduate students who enroll full-time at The University of Alabama. Priority for awards alternate geographically each year between Morgan and Marengo Counties, Alabama. In years where first priority of consideration goes to entering freshmen students graduating from high schools in Morgan County, second priority of consideration goes to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school in the state of Alabama. In years where first priority of consideration goes to entering freshmen students graduating from high schools in Marengo County, second priority of consideration goes to entering freshmen students graduating from high schools in Baldwin County. If there are no qualified applicants from Marengo or Baldwin Counties, then third priority goes to entering freshmen students graduating from any high school in the state of Alabama.
