R. Alan and Jill V. Deer Family Endowed Scholarship

Established by R. Alan and Jill V. Deer. Priority of consideration is given to students who are enrolled in the Honors College at The University of Alabama who graduated from high schools in Monroe County, Alabama, and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Second priority of consideration is given to students who are enrolled in the Honors College at The University of Alabama who graduated from high schools in low-income counties in Alabama and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines.
