R. C. Cobb Memorial Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the R. C. Cobb Family Foundation to promote the education of deserving full-time undergraduate students from Fayette, Alabama, enrolled in the Culverhouse College of Business. Consideration is given to entering freshmen whose high school academic records, college entrance test results, and character indicate a reasonable probability of success, and who demonstrate qualities and traits exhibited by R. C. Cobb during his lifetime. Recipients must be well rounded as evidenced by their involvement in extracurricular activities. Among qualified applicants, the deciding factor can be financial need, although not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines. The scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school in Fayette or Lamar County, Alabama. In the event there are no qualified entering freshmen applicants for any given academic year, the scholarship will not be awarded that year. The scholarship is renewable.
