Warrior Roofing - Thomas G. Shurett Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established by Warrior Roofing Manufacturing, Inc., of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to honor the memory of Thomas G. Shurett. Priority of consideration is given to employees of Warrior Roofing Manufacturing Inc., and their dependents who are pursuing their educations at The University of Alabama. Second priority is given to West Alabama residents. Among qualified applicants, preference is given to full-time or part-time students enrolled in academic programs facilitated through the Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education and then to students enrolled in any other academic division at the University. The scholarship is renewable for each of the subsequent years of the student’s undergraduate education, provided that the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress merit retention and the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
