Vickers Family Business Scholarship

Established by Talmai O. Vickers Jr. and Julie S. Vickers. Priority of consideration is given to students who graduated from a high school in Mobile County, Alabama, are enrolled in the Culverhouse College of Business, and have faced hardships in either their personal lives or at home and may not otherwise be able to attend college due to financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. It is the Donor Representative’s intent that the scholarship be awarded to a single student to assist with all eligible expenses involved in attending the University, not to exceed $40,000 in one academic year, and be renewable for each of the subsequent years of a recipient’s undergraduate education provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress satisfactory and provided the recipient remains enrolled in the Culverhouse College of Business.
