Connor Family Central Savannah River Area Endowed Scholarship
Established by C. Caleb Connor. First priority of consideration is given to incoming students enrolled in the Blount Scholars Program who graduated from Mead Hall Episcopal School in Aiken, South Carolina. Second priority of consideration is given to incoming students enrolled in the Blount Scholars Program or College of Arts and Sciences who graduated from a high school located in Aiken or Edgefield counties in the state of South Carolina. Third priority of consideration is given to incoming students enrolled in the Blount Scholars Program or College of Arts and Sciences who graduated from a high school in the Central Savannah River Area, which includes 14 counties in the state of Georgia (Richmond, Columbia, Burke, McDuffie, Washington, Jefferson, Screven, Wilkes, Jenkins, Hancock, Lincoln, Warren, Glascock and Taliaferro) and seven counties in the state of South Carolina (Aiken, Edgefield, Barnwell, Saluda, Bamberg, McCormick and Allendale). If there are no incoming students meeting the above criteria, the scholarship will be renewable for a previous recipient, provided the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient?s performance and academic progress satisfactory and the recipient remains enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
