Caden Clay Memorial Endowed Business Scholarship

Established by the Dallas, Texas Alumni Chapter. First priority of consideration is given to an entering freshman student graduating from Prosper High School, Rock Hill High School or Walnut Grove High School, enrolling in the Culverhouse College of Business and who is the child of a first responder or educator. Second priority of consideration is given to an entering freshman student graduating from Prosper High School, Rock Hill High School or Walnut Grove High School and enrolling in the Culverhouse College of Business. Third priority of consideration is given to an entering freshman student who graduated from a high school located in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman or Rockwall counties in Texas, enrolling in the Culverhouse College of Business and who is the child of a first responder or educator. Fourth priority of consideration is given to an entering freshman student who graduated from a high school located in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman or Rockwall counties in Texas and enrolling in the Culverhouse College of Business. An essay is required for applicant consideration. At the discretion of the selection committee, the scholarship may be renewed to the incumbent recipient, for continued undergraduate education, not to exceed a total of four academic years of undergraduate study (eight semesters consisting of fall and spring), provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality as to justify such renewal by maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
