Dr. Mary Kay Meyer Hospitality Management Support Fund

The Dr. Mary Kay Meyer Hospitality Management Support Fund was established by Dr. Mary K. Meyer of Mobile, Alabama to promote the education of students in the College of Human Environmental Sciences at The University of Alabama. The endowment earnings are used to provide support for the Department of Human Nutrition and Hospitality and Sport Management in the College of Human Environmental Sciences. The funds will be used to support students majoring in hospitality management and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines, who are involved in an international experiential learning opportunity related to their major. First priority of consideration is given to students participating in the UA in Italy: Food & Wine study abroad program. Second priority of consideration is given to students who plan to travel internationally related to their studies within Hospitality Management.
