John Pollard Cross Endowed Scholarship

Established by John Pollard Cross. Priority of consideration is given to deserving students enrolled at The University of Alabama who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. It is the donor’s intent that the endowment earnings support students who have faced hardships in either their personal lives or at home and may not otherwise be able to attend college due to financial need. Additional preference is given to students who have graduated from a high school in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
