Linda Lane-Overton Endowed Adapted Athletic Scholarship Fund

Established by Linda Lane-Overton and the Houston-Henry Counties Alumni Chapter. Consideration is restricted to students enrolling in the Adapted Athletics Program through the College of Education at The University of Alabama. Students will be considered in the following order: 1) State of Alabama, 2) State of Tennessee, 3) any other state in the US, 4) International students. Financial need shall be a primary factor if information regarding financial need is provided by the applicant or known by the selection committee, but not financial need as defined by federal guidelines. The scholarship is automatically renewable for each succeeding year of the recipient’s undergraduate education, not to exceed a total of four academic years of undergraduate study (eight semesters consisting of fall and spring), provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality as to justify such renewal by maintaining a minimum cumulative 2.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
