T. Gary Fitts Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Gerald Allen and family and friends of T. Gary Fitts, with the Tuscaloosa County Alumni Chapter. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Preference is given to those students who have achieved a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and a national test score minimum 21 ACT or 1060 SAT. The scholarship is automatically renewable for each succeeding year of the recipient’s undergraduate education, not to exceed a total of four academic years of undergraduate study (eight semesters consisting of fall and spring), provided the incumbent recipient’s academic performance and progress are of such quality as to justify such renewal by maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
