Connor Family North Florida and Southwest Georgia Area Endowed Scholarship

Established by Christopher C. Connor and Faris S. Connor. First priority of consideration is given to incoming students enrolled in the Blount Scholars Program who graduated from Maclay School in Tallahassee, Florida. Second priority of consideration is given to incoming students enrolled in the Blount Scholars Program who graduated from a high school in seven counties in the state of Florida (Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Madison) or seven counties in the state of Georgia (Brooks, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Seminole, Thomas). Third priority of consideration is given to incoming students enrolled in the Barefield College of Arts and Sciences who graduated from a high school in the above counties. If there are no incoming students meeting the above criteria, the scholarship is renewable for a previous recipient, provided the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress satisfactory and the recipient remains enrolled in the Barefield College of Arts and Sciences.
