John Williamson Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established by William W. Brooke and Margaret W. Brooke to promote the education of students at The University of Alabama and to honor the memory of John Williamson, Mrs. Brooke’s father. First priority of consideration is given to full-time undergraduate students who have been involved in Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama. Second priority of consideration is given to full-time undergraduate students who have been involved in Boys & Girls Clubs anywhere in the state of Alabama. The scholarship is renewable for up to three subsequent years of a recipient’s undergraduate education at The University of Alabama provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress to be worthy of retention and the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
