Stephen G. and George S. Karatheodoris Memorial Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship
Established by Kiki Karatheodoris and others. Priority of consideration is given to students who are enrolled in their second, third, or fourth year of study who are pursuing degrees in English, art and art history, music, psychology, math, physics, or gender and race studies, and who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. The scholarship may be renewable for each of the subsequent years of a recipient’s undergraduate education provided the scholarship committee deems the recipient’s performance and academic progress satisfactory and provided the recipient remains enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and maintains at least a 3.2 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. The Donor Representative requests that applicants provide the scholarship committee with a short narrative explaining why they chose their major, and how their work within this field can help or enhance people’s lives.
