University of Alabama Horizons Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by the Alabama National Alumni Association. Priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen students graduating from a high school located in the Gulf of Mexico region, specifically Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. Priority consideration is given to those entering freshman students who attained a 2.75 minimum high school GPA on a 4.0 scale and have been admitted in good standing with The University of Alabama. Financial need is a primary factor of consideration as demonstrated on their scholarship application or known by the selection committee; financial need not necessarily as defined by the Office of Financial Aid.
