Mark C. Smith C&BA Academic Elite Endowed Scholarship

Established by Cameron and Clay Smith to honor the memory of Mr. Smith’s father, Mark C. Smith and to promote the education of students in the Culverhouse College of Business. Priority of consideration is given to academically gifted, in-state, incoming freshmen students who are majoring in business and are enrolled full-time in the Culverhouse College of Business. Consideration is given to elite students whose high school academic records, college entrance test results, participation in extracurricular activities, and qualities of character indicate not only academic excellence and a high probability of success, but also leadership potential reminiscent of that realized by Mark C. Smith during his lifetime. The scholarship is renewable.
