John Ross Theatrical Design Scholarship

Established by Dr. Wendy A. Cohen and Mr. John M. Chenault to honor Professor Emeritus John W. Ross. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences who are pursuing a career in theatrical design such as scene design, lighting design, costume design, or projection design. The donors’ intent is to award the scholarship based on artistic excellence and potential. Financial need may also be considered, although it is not a requirement for the award.
