Jane R. Cantey Edwards and Thomas C. Cantey Jr. Family Endowed Scholarship

Established by Thomas C. Cantey, Jr. and Jane R. Cantey Edwards. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate students enrolled in the Culverhouse College of Business who graduated from high schools in Elmore County, Montgomery County, or Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, and have demonstrated a strong work ethic, personal integrity, and leadership ability. Among qualified applicants, final selection is made based primarily on financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines, and secondarily on academic achievement. If no qualified applicants from the above-noted counties are available to receive the scholarship, students from other geographic areas may be considered, including students from out of state.
